I’ve always loved deviled eggs. Even when I was a kid, you could always find me next to the plate of deviled eggs at family functions. If you’ve been on this blog before, you know that I will make anything and everything I possibly can in my Instant Pot, and Instant Pot Deviled Eggs are no different! As a matter of fact, I even use my Instant Pot to make Easter Chick Deviled Eggs!

Ingredients for Easy Instant Pot Deviled Eggs:
1 cup Water
6 large eggs
3 tbsp mayonnaise
2 tsp spicy brown mustard
1/4 tsp prepared horseradish (I like mine extra spicy – if heat isn’t your thing then leave this out!)
Salt and pepper to taste
garnishes of choice (I used paprika)
Directions:
- Pour water into Instant Pot.
- Place the included wire trivet or egg rack in the bottom of the pot and arrange the eggs on top. You can fit an entire dozen in there with just the trivet, but I like to use the egg rack because they sit perfectly still and you can make sure the rounder end is on the top. That makes for easier peeling later.
- Put the lid on the pot and lock it in the sealing position.
- Press the egg button or manual pressure 8 minutes, whichever is longer. My egg button was for some reason automatically set to 5, which in my opinion is too long.
- Quick Release.
- Place the eggs in an ice bath until cooled. This will also make them way easier to peel.
- When cool, cut eggs in half lengthwise. For this, I use a cheese cutting board. I love how easily the wire cuts through without crumbling up the yolk.
- Scoop out the yolks and place them in a small bowl.
- Add the mayonnaise, oil, mustard, and horseradish and mash together with a fork until very smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Fill the egg whites with yolk mixture and top with desired garnishes. You can use a decorating bag if you want to get really fancy here, or you can simply cut the corner off of a sandwich bag and do it that way.
- Cover and chill until ready to serve. I have the Rachael Ray lasagna lugger with an egg tray already in it – the insulated bag keeps them nice and cold and easy to transport wherever I want to!

Are Deviled Eggs Keto-friendly?
One of the best things about Instant Pot deviled eggs is that they’re keto-friendly, so if you’re watching your carb count you can still enjoy them! When I was doing keto I lived on them.
How long do Instant Pot Deviled Eggs last?
I’d only hang on to them for a day or two. If you’re looking to make them ahead of time, you can always just make the eggs and leave them in the refrigerator until you’re ready to do the “deviling” part.
What is the best way to peel hard-boiled eggs?
The best way to peel hard boiled eggs is to crack the shell on the round side. The round side usually has an air pocket and from there you can grab a good chunk of shell to get started. Starting in the middle or on the thinner side of the egg is more likely to result in the egg pitting as it’s shelled.
