1 box of vanilla cake mix

5.5 cups of flour
2 ½ cup of warm water
½ cup of apple pie filling

1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp brown sugar
½ cup of oats
½ cup flour
caramel sauce

- Sprinkle over rolls
- Place in a baking tray and bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Drizzle with caramel sauce to garnish.
That’s it! It’s really that easy to throw these together. The hardest part is waiting for them to cool so that you can eat them!

How Do I Choose The Best Apples?
If you are picking apples, pick from as high as you can and get the ones with no dents or bruises. You want apples that are ripe but not too ripe or they will rot quickly. If you are choosing apples in the store, be sure to feel them out to be sure that they aren’t mushy. It’s often best to buy apples individually rather than in a bag.
What type of apples should I use?
For easy apple pie rolls you can use any apples, really. Gala and Granny Smith are my favorites to bake with. Gala is much sweeter than Granny Smith, but Granny Smith is a lot harder of an apple and will keep its form better than any other kind. I’ve also used Macintosh, Empire, and Golden delicious to make apple treats. Red delicious is definitely delicious, but a little bit too soft for baking in my opinion. I use that one to make applesauce sometimes.
Can you freeze easy apple pie rolls?
Though they can be frozen, they may dry out when thawing. It’s best to eat them within a day or two of baking. Besides, they’re so good they won’t last long enough to freeze anyway!
